President, Executive Creative Director

Stuart believes that the secret to great creative work is starting with a simple, clear, differentiated strategy.

Over the past 25 years, he has worked at agencies across the country and around the world. Most recently, he was a Creative Director at Fallon Minneapolis, overseeing, among other things, the worldwide advertising creative for United Airlines. Before moving to Minneapolis, Stuart was a Partner and Creative Director at Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners in New York. He has also worked in Seattle, Boston, Hong Kong and Bombay.

Stuart’s experience spans a diverse range of product categories including hotels, cars, banks, airlines, electronics and healthcare, to name a few.

Over the years he has won practically every advertising award, including the Grand Prix at Cannes for his work on the Volkswagen New Beetle. His work has been featured for Copywriting Craft in British Design and Art Direction. Together with Bob Barrie, he created the Emmy-nominated work for United; two of their commercials are on permanent display at the Museum of Modern Art. Stuart was also the creative director in charge of the non-traditional launch of United’s low cost carrier, TED, which won a golf EFFIE award for the best new product launch of 2005.

Stuart is a passionate musician who has released three solo albums to excellent critical acclaim: Songs About Now, American Love and, his most recent, The Radio In My Head.

He lives in Edina, MN with his wife Denise and 15-year-old son Julian.
